Bring Coal Back! introduces coal into Hytale with a context-aware world generation system that adapts the ore to the surrounding rock type.

Instead of spawning a single generic coal block everywhere, this mod generates rock-specific coal variants that match the geology of the world. Coal embedded in stone looks different from coal in basalt, shale, volcanic rock, granite, and more—resulting in a world that feels cohesive, natural, and visually consistent 🪨.

Coal veins are generated during new chunk creation, forming organic, natural-looking deposits across underground layers. Each block is replaced intelligently based on the original terrain, with a safe fallback for generic materials like dirt, gravel, or clay.
