Greetings, adventurers!

I am beyond excited to unveil a massive project I have been pouring my heart into for hours of non-stop development. This update is a complete game-changer for progression in Hytale, inspired by a brilliant suggestion from our community member, Daniilq.

We aren't just boosting stats; we are introducing an entirely new crafting tier and redefining the "End-Game."

🔨 Introducing: The Diamond Coating Anvil

Gone are the days of simply crafting diamond gear on a basic bench. To achieve ultimate power, you must now master the specialized Diamond Coating Anvil. This new station is the only place where regular high-tier equipment can ascend to "Diamond Coated" status.

The Cost of Power

The path to ascension depends on the quality of the gear you wish to upgrade:

Standard Tiers: Reinforcing mid-tier equipment will require Diamond Shards.

Elite Tiers: To coat expensive, high-end materials like Mithril or Onyxium, you must utilize rare and costly forged Diamond Ingots.

🛡️ The Fate of Diamond Armor: Reborn as End-Game

A crucial note for all miners: Standard Diamond Armor has NOT been removed from the game. Instead, it has been completely overhauled and elevated to its rightful place as the absolute pinnacle of gear.

It is no longer just "the next tier"; it is now true End-Game Overpowered (OP) Gear, boasting the same incredible stats and features as the newly coated items below.

✨ The "Eternal Radiance" Features

All items that pass through the Diamond Coating Anvil—including the reworked Pure Diamond set—gain these game-changing properties:

1. Unbreakable Durability (1500!)

We have shattered the old limits. Top-tier armor durability has been increased from a meager 150 to a staggering 1500. These items are built to last through entire campaigns without needing repairs.

2. Eternal Radiance (Self-Illumination)

Forget carrying stacks of torches. Every piece of Diamond Coated gear now emits a powerful, permanent light source. Illuminate the deepest caves simply by wearing your armor.

3. Visual & Technical Perfection

New Particles: Every coated weapon and armor piece features custom shimmering particles and auras.

Stability Fixes: I’ve worked tirelessly to eliminate critical "DamageEffects is null" errors. Combat is now smoother and crash-free.

💎 adknn’s Gem Overhaul: Diamonds (Early Access)

🏗️ IMPORTANT: This mod is currently in its early developmental stage. In the current build, the primary mechanic is obtaining Diamond Shards by breaking existing gem assets in the world. These shards are used to craft Diamond Ingots, the foundational material for the upcoming progression tier.

🛠 Current Features & Mechanics

This project is the first module of the adknn’s Gem Overhaul series, designed to give purpose to decorative minerals within Hytale.

The Refinement Loop: Breaking gems yields Diamond Shards.

Forging: Combine shards at a workbench to create Diamond Ingots.

Also, I added diamond ore blocks but due to the new modding system, I couldn't add them to the world generation.

🚧 Work in Progress (Active Development)

We are currently refining the following core components to provide a complete gameplay experience:

World Generation (WorldGen): Work is underway to integrate natural Diamond Ore veins into the deep underground layers of Zone 3 (Borea). This includes specialized variants for different rock types like Basalt, Shale, and Slate.

System Balancing: Fine-tuning drop rates and crafting costs to ensure Diamonds feel rare and rewarding without breaking the game's progression.

🔮 The "Gem Overhaul" Vision

This mod is just the beginning. Once the Diamond framework is perfected, the series will expand into standalone modules for:

Rubies: Focused on raw power and offensive bonuses.

Sapphires: Focused on utility, magic, and speed.

Emeralds: Focused on luck and world interaction.
