Glass

The Glass mod adds a completely new glass block to Hytale. This glass block can be broken by hand or more quickly with tools such as axes and pickaxes.

Crafting Changes

With the introduction of the glass block, the crafting recipes have been adjusted:

Glass Block: Can now be crafted in a Furnace by processing Sand.

Empty Potion Bottle: The recipe has been moved to the Alchemist's Bench and now requires a Glass Block as an ingredient.

Important Notes

The glass block isn't perfect: due to current limitations on the Hytale engine, adjacent transparent blocks (glass) cannot hide shared faces as intended.

Although glass is a solid block, rain can still pass through it, also likely caused by engine limitations.

Water is invisible when placed behind glass, meaning setups like aquariums or decorative water features may not look correct.
