Movement Detection

Note: The Hytale plugin API currently doesn't expose a PlayerMoveEvent, so the plugin can only detect activity when you chat. Movement-based AFK removal is not currently possible with the available API.

Installation

Place AFKPlugin-1.0.0.jar in your server's mods/ folder

Restart your server

Usage

Type /afk to mark yourself as away. Everyone will see: "YourName is now afk!"

Your chat messages will show the [AFK] prefix until you send a message, which automatically removes your AFK status and announces: "⚡ YourName is no longer AFK"

⚠️ Important: Permissions Setup

By default, Hytale prevents non-Operators from using slash commands. For regular players to use this plugin, you must add the permission node to your server's permissions.json file.

Note: You must STOP your server before editing this file, or it may reset your changes.

Configuration

Locate permissions.json in your server root and add the permission string to the default group list.

Correct Syntax: Ensure you use a List [], not an Object {}.
