This Mod introduces Crystal seeds for each shard variation. You can unlock these seeds by reaching Level 8 in the Farmers Workbench. Each colored Crystal has its own seed. Once fully grown it will drop 1-3 shards, and 4-5 Life Essence. They also have a slight glow at night. Support has been added for Pink Crystals as of v1.0.3 with the help of Quills245. These Crystals have 3 growth stages. Seed > Small > Medium > Large (Harvest)

I have not done a large amount of balance testing so for now each seed costs 10 essence like the top tier crops. So you must have an alternate source of life essence to keep growing shards as they only return half what it costs to make the seeds. Please feel free to add any suggestions in the comments. I may eventually introduce a small % chance to drop other essences outside Life from certain crystals. Like maybe a 5% chance to drop Ice Essence from harvesting Cyan Crystals, Water Essence from Blue, Fire from Red etc.
