Hytale Essentials

Hytale Essentials is a server-side quality-of-life mod focused on making everyday gameplay feel smoother, easier, and less annoying — without changing what Hytale is.

Instead of piling on new content, Hytale Essentials refines the small things players interact with constantly: item pickup behavior, inventory handling, interaction shortcuts, and other subtle systems that quietly improve how the game feels minute to minute.

All features are managed through a unified in-game UI where they can be toggled, adjusted, reset, or locked by the server. Changes apply instantly, require no world restart, and are designed to feel like they were always part of the game.

For multiplayer servers, every system supports server-authoritative locking, so admins stay in control and players don’t accidentally turn the server into a vacuum cleaner simulator.

Commands

While most settings are handled through the UI, Hytale Essentials provides a single root command for access and management:

/he – Opens the Hytale Essentials interface and provides access to all available utilities and settings.

All feature controls, toggles, resets, and locks are managed directly through the UI. Additional sub-features are exposed automatically as the mod expands, without adding extra commands.
