Okey is a lightweight yet essential & powerful utility for EVERY server. It lets you bind any command to a single key press - the O key. Using a clean, native-looking HUD that feels like it belongs in the game.

On most servers, players do not have access to gamemode switching, and the default O key functionality is effectively unused. Okey repurposes this underutilized input and turns it into a universal action key for your server.

No commands. No items. No awkward workarounds. Just press O.

Why Okey?

Traditionally, servers rely on:

/menu or /hub commands Chat spam and memorization of commands

Special items players must hold or right-click

These solutions are functional - but clunky.

Okey solves this at the input level. It provides a modern, frictionless way for players to access server features instantly, using a single, familiar key and a subtle on-screen indicator.

- Run commands as the player (based on player's permissions) - Or run commands as the server console (full permission access)

How to Setup and Use?

put the Okey.jar into your /mods folder.

Run the server once so it will generate a configuration file.

Turn of the server, customize your OkeyConf.json, rich with comments and information. Enjoy!

Commands - /okey (opens the credits/example screen) /okey hide - hides the GUI, remembers user's preference, /okey show (or /okey unhide) - showing the GUI again.

Important to know: '/gm c' command will not work anymore, it will trigger our plugin instead (that's literally what the O key does, sends '/gm c' command) - instead, use '/gmc'. Not a horrible sacrifice. 🙃
