Thorium Hand Crossbow - Advanced Multi-Shot Ranged Weapon Mod

Thorium Hand Crossbow is a progression-based ranged weapon mod that introduces a high-tier upgrade to the Iron Hand Crossbow, built for players who want higher ammo capacity, sustained DPS, and advanced combat efficiency in mid-to-late game.

This mod adds a Thorium-forged hand crossbow crafted at the Blacksmith’s Anvil, designed to outperform the iron variant while staying balanced within vanilla progression.

Core Feature - 10-Arrow Extended Magazine

Unlike the Iron Hand Crossbow, which reloads only 5 arrows, the Thorium Hand Crossbow reloads up to 10 arrows at once, allowing players to:

Fire twice as many shots per reload

Maintain longer combat uptime

Perform sustained ranged damage

Reduce downtime during boss fights and intense encounters

This makes it ideal for advanced PvE combat, exploration, and high-pressure engagements.

Design Note - Preserved Iron Crossbow Visuals

To maintain animation stability and sprite integrity, I intentionally kept the original Iron Hand Crossbow visual design.

At the moment, I am still learning how to work with full texture sets and advanced item sprites, and I currently focus more on icon design. To avoid breaking original animations, sprites, or visual behavior, I chose to preserve the iron crossbow model, ensuring smooth compatibility and clean visuals.

This guarantees the weapon feels native to vanilla Hytale without risking animation glitches or visual inconsistencies.
