🌍 Russian Language Support for Hytale

Russian Language Support is a community-driven localization project maintained by thedragon95.

This mod adds full Russian language support to Hytale using custom language files. Since Hytale currently does not provide official language support, this project allows players to experience the game entirely in Russian.

Without CurseForge Launcher

Download and extract the ZIP file.

You have two options: Option A – Directly using the path:

Navigate to the language folder:

%AppData%\Hytale\install\release\package\game\latest\Client\Data\Shared\Language

Open File Explorer (Windows key + E), paste the path in the address bar, and press Enter, or press Windows key + R and paste the same path.

Copy the extracted language files here.

Option B – Copy the install folder:

Copy the extracted install folder into:

%AppData%\Hytale

Confirm overwriting files if prompted.

Start Hytale.

Select your preferred language in the settings if needed.

With CurseForge Launcher

Open the Hytale game directory via the launcher.

Navigate to:

UserData/Mods

Extract the ZIP file and copy the install folder.

Paste it into the main game directory.

Confirm overwriting files if prompted.

Start Hytale and select your preferred language if required.

🌍 Russian Localization Mod for Hytale

Russian Language Support is a fan-made translation project by thedragon95, created to bring a complete Russian-language experience to Hytale.

Because Hytale does not yet include official language options, this mod replaces the in-game texts with fully translated Russian versions, covering the interface, world content, and character-related text.

🧩 Installation Guide

🚫 Installing Without CurseForge

Step 1 — Download and extract the ZIP file

After extracting, choose one of the following methods:

🅰️ Method A – Place files directly in the language directory

Go to the following folder:

%AppData%\Hytale\install\release\package\game\latest\Client\Data\Shared\Language

How to open it quickly:

Press Windows + E, paste the path into the address bar, press Enter or

Press Windows + R, paste the path, press Enter

Now copy the extracted language files into this directory.

🅱️ Method B – Copy the install folder

Move the extracted install folder into:

%AppData%\Hytale

If Windows asks whether to replace existing files, confirm the overwrite.

▶️ Launch the Game

Start Hytale and choose Russian in the language settings if it is not already active.

Open the Hytale installation directory through the launcher

Navigate to:

UserData/Mods

Extract the ZIP archive

Copy the install folder into the main Hytale directory

Approve file replacement if prompted

Launch Hytale and select Russian in the language options if needed
