Adds potions and/or other items to turn you into a werewolf or wolf!

About Sammyall's Werewolves

The hope of this mod is for it to give quite a good bit of depth into werewolves for Hytale. Currently, it's quite basic. So far there are currently five potions and a full tier of special helmets! Feedback is sincerely appreciated. My first real time making a mod for a game.

Below is what's currently in the mod as of right now. Anything that has (a/b) basically means it's the same item, but with a replaced with b.

Potion of Werewolves

Turns you into a werewolf with some buffed stats. Lasts 60 seconds like all other morph potions.

+30 Max HP

+4 Max Stamina

Potion of (Black/White/Grey) Wolves

Turns you into a (Black/White/Grey) wolf with some buffed stats. Lasts 60 seconds like all other morph potions.

+15 Max HP

+2 Max Stamina

Potion of (Were)wolf Removal

Will remove the potion effects of all werewolves/wolves from this mod from yourself!

(Copper/Iron/Thorium/Cobalt/Adamantite/Mithril) Helmet of the Werewolf

Permanently turns you into a werewolf, so long as you're wearing this helmet! Standard (Copper/Iron/Thorium/Cobalt/Adamantite/Mithril) helmet in everything else.

Currently this will be the "stable" version (V1.2.0). I have added everything basic that I wanted. Anything I want to add will take some time or a good chunk of reworking.

Currently my goal is to probably make some werewolves spawn in. Maybe in a custom biome? With how semi-op transforming into a werewolf is, I want the player to earn that buff in some way. I also would like to explore making some custom werewolf villages, especially if I can make them human in the day and werewolf at night.

Animations are on the far, far back burner. Simply for two main reasons. One: the system I have that currently works replacing the unarmed attack animation and replacing it with something else is jank. I don't know exactly how my mod will interact with others with this change. And two: I need to actually animate them (I know I can just use other animations in Hytale, but that's quite limited). This isn't exactly hard, per se; I just need to dedicate a lot of time to something I'm not a fan of doing.

Balancing will eventually be done once more of this mod is in place. Or at least, it is complicated enough to justify it.

For the future, if I continue working on this for much longer:

One day get some attack animations that work with the wolf and werewolf models.

Make werewolves actually spawn in. Depends on the work involved.

Might add some type of werewolf village or something?

See if maybe... maybe there can be a legit transformation done in Hytale.

Maybe add some type of infection or something that can also turn the player?

Anything else that seems to fit.
