Simple Chest Manager

Simple Chest Manager is a very early Storage Mod that allows you to Quick Stack Items to nearby Chests and also retrieve them from there. This mod is in heavy Development and will get alot of additional Features. This mod works with every other mod that implements a Item or a Container with the standard Containter Interaction!

Little Disclaimer on the direction of the Project:

I aim to make this a mod that is not to overpowered but convinient, i also try to keep the overall vibe of the game and will not add to technical models nor will i add a single powerfull chest that can hold all items. I want to keep the vibe of a Chest Storage Mod where you actually have to craft some blocks that you can manage then, this also make sure that we stay highly compatible with any Pipes or Item Transfer Mods!

Features of the Mod

For Quick Stack you just go to the Chest Terminal and press "QUICK STACK". For Quick Stack without your Hot Bar just press right Click on "QUICK STACK" this only stacks your inventory. For Retrieval you press the "GET" button, with a left click you get a full stack and with a right click you only get one item. For Finding the chest(s) where your item(s) are stored you can use the "FIND" button. For Searching a Specific Item you can use the Search function on the top right. For seeing all chests in range you just press "FIND CHESTS" For depositing Items into any of the chest in range with a free slot, either right click for one item or left click for all of your Inventory.

FAQ

What is Quick Stacking?

Quick Stacking means that all items go inside a chest where atleast one item of the same type is already present. So if you have for Example 3 Marble cobble in any of your Chests and you have 20 in you Inventory, when you press "QUICK STACK", all 20 Marble cobble will be stored alongside of your 3 in the Chest.

Can you Change the Range where it searches for Chests?

Yes, just change the value in the config file located here: "C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Hytale\UserData\Saves\<SaveName>\mods\Rowz_SimpleChestManager"

If you Install it in a Server you find it at "Yourserverinstallation\mods\Rowz-SimpleChestManager"

Does it work with the Chest of the Void mod?

It currently does not work with this mod. I&rsquo;m testing some compatibility aspects and will eventually update the mod to support other storage mods. BTW: Check out the mod nonetheless &mdash; it&rsquo;s really handy!

Can i include this mod in my modpack?

Yes, as soon as this feature is enabled at any of the mod distribution sites.
