A Hytale server mod that allows players to easily swap hotbar items with any row in their inventory or backpack.

Overview

Simple Hotbar Swapper is a mod for Hytale that enables players to quickly swap their hotbar items. You can swap the hotbar with any of the 4 rows in your main inventory or multiple rows in your backpack with a single command.

Features

Inventory Row Swapping: Swap hotbar items with rows 1-4 of your main inventory

Backpack Row Swapping: Swap hotbar items with backpack rows (5-7)

Command Alias: Use the shorter shs command for quick access

Usage

Command

/simple_hotbar_switcher <row_number> /shs <row_number> Row Numbers

1-4: Main inventory rows (row 1 through row 4)

5-7: Backpack rows (row 1 through row 3)

/shs 5 How the Automatic Bag Container Swap Works

This feature works with bag items like [NoCube's] Simple Bags that contain inventory containers.

When you're holding a bag item in slot 9:

Hold a bag item (e.g., [NoCube's] Simple Bags) in hotbar slot 9

Press G key to drop it (hotbar drop action)

Instead of dropping the bag, the system automatically swaps only the first row of the bag's contents with your hotbar slots 1-8

The bag slot itself remains unchanged

This feature allows you to quickly access items stored in your bag without manually swapping rows.

Dropping a Bag Item

There are two ways to drop a bag item:

Using Inventory Screen: Open your inventory screen, and drop the bag from slot 9 normally

This will drop the bag item without triggering the automatic swap

You can freely drop or move the bag when the inventory screen is open

Using Hotbar (G key): Press G key with the bag in slot 9

This triggers the automatic swap instead of dropping

If you want to drop instead, move the bag to a different hotbar slot first

The automatic swap only triggers when:

The bag is in hotbar slot 9

You press G key to drop (not through the inventory screen)
