A Blockbench-based project that converts Minecraft Skyblock props into Hytale-ready models for easy community expansion.
About Tech's Skyblock Remastered Assets
Tech’s Skyblock Remastered Assets → Hytale
Blockbench Conversion Project (Armor, Blocks, Mobs & Utility | Community Beta) by TechNorris
Project Overview
This project is a large-scale, community-driven conversion of Skyblock-inspired Minecraft assets into Hytale-ready model foundations, built in Blockbench and released as fully editable, open assets.
It unifies armor, blocks, mobs, and utility props into a single coherent archive designed to serve as a translation layer between Skyblock’s long-evolved visual language and Hytale’s more expressive engine.
These are not finished, locked-down assets. They are structural primitives the raw forms systems are built from.
If Skyblock is the idea-space and Hytale is the canvas, this project is the shared sketchbook.
What’s Included
Armor Foundations
All vanilla-inspired base armor sets:
Leather
Chain
Iron
Gold
Diamond
300+ Skyblock-unique armor variants, including:
Dragon sets
Dungeon and Slayer gear
Farming, mining, combat, and hybrid progression paths
Tiered and upgrade-based silhouettes
Layered texture structure designed for:
Overlays
Visual upgrades
Variant branching
Shared geometry via Armor Set.blockymodel for consistency across sets
Armor here is treated as identity and progression, not just equipment.
Block Assets
All 36 custom Skyblock blocks converted into Hytale-scale Blockbench models
Includes ores, gemstones, tiered materials, and region-specific resources
Unified block structure via Blocks.blockymodel
Designed for:
Retexturing
Variant creation
Biome-, faction-, or system-specific adaptation
Blocks function as world grammar, not decoration.
Mob Models
Skyblock-relevant mobs rebuilt for Hytale proportions and posture
Includes hostile mobs, utility mobs, villagers, and variants
Clean, editable Blockbench geometry paired with textures
Structured for:
Iterative refinement
Visual tiering
Future animation and behavior layering
These models are visual foundations, not AI implementations.
Utility & Props
Minecart model and texture
Shared structural conventions for future props
Clean file organization supported by asset lists
Design Philosophy
Faithful, not literal Skyblock identity is preserved without rigid 1:1 Minecraft cloning.
Hytale-first thinking Silhouette, posture, and scale are adjusted to feel natural inside Hytale’s world and animation systems.
Modular-first construction Assets are designed to accept trims, attachments, overlays, and mutations without mesh conflict.
Iteration over perfection Early structure beats polished dead ends. These assets exist to evolve.
Community continuity Shared foundations prevent visual drift across different creators and projects.
What You’re Encouraged To Do
Rework geometry or topology
Refine proportions, details, or textures
Create visual tiers or upgrade paths
Adapt mobs into minions, enemies, or NPCs
Expand armor into full Skyblock-style gear lines
Re-theme blocks for biomes, factions, or progression systems
Use assets as learning references for Blockbench → Hytale workflows
Credit is appreciated. Creative freedom comes first.
What This Is Not
Not a finished mod
Not gameplay-balanced
Not scripted or AI-complete
Not locked to a single interpretation
Stats, mechanics, behaviors, and systems come later. This phase is about form, structure, and shared visual language.
Long-Term Vision
This project is intended to grow into:
A complete Skyblock-style visual ecosystem for Hytale
A consistent standard for modded armor, blocks, and mobs
A shared asset pool that accelerates future mod and server development
Foundations for PvE, PvP, dungeons, minions, and progression systems
Armor is the backbone of progression. Blocks are the grammar of worlds. Mobs are the motion that gives them life.
Get the foundations right, and everything else can evolve naturally.
Final Note
This is a builder’s toolkit, not a museum piece.
Take it apart. Fix what’s wrong. Push it further than the original ever went.
Every remix strengthens the ecosystem.
Much Love.
