Features

Vote System: Players can type /voteday to start a vote to skip the night.

Highly Configurable: Set the start and end times for voting (defaults to 19:00 - 05:00).

Adjust the required percentage of players to pass the vote.

Change the vote duration.

Custom Messages: All chat messages are fully configurable and support HEX colors.

Smooth Animation

Instead of instantly snapping to day, the time can transition smoothly with a beautiful sunrise animation.

This feature allows for a more immersive experience. You can adjust the speed of the transition using the TimeSkipSpeed configuration.

Note: This feature has not been fully tested yet, and its impact on performance is not fully known. Please use it with this in mind. It is disabled by default (false); you can enable it by setting EnableTimeAnimation to true in the configuration.

Commands

/voteday - Cast your vote to skip the night.

/votedayset <setting> <value> - Change configuration values in-game. Available settings: votestarttime <0.0-24.0> - Set the start time for voting range.

voteendtime <0.0-24.0> - Set the end time for voting range.

timeaftervote <0.0-24.0> - Set the time the world sets to after a successful vote.

requiredpercentage <0-100> - Set the percentage of players required to pass the vote.

voteduration <seconds> - Set how long the vote lasts.

timeskipspeed <hours_per_sec> - Set the speed of the time transition animation.

enabletimeanimation <true/false> - Enable or disable the time transition animation.

Permissions

voteday.use - Allows a player to start or join a vote.

voteday.set - Allows a player to change config values.

You can edit the configuration file located in mods/Devify_VoteDay/config.json.
