Transform into creatures with actual abilities, not just a costume!

Better Morphs overhauls Hytale's morph potions, extending their duration and giving each transformation unique, meaningful abilities. Become a pigeon and soar through the skies, slip past enemies undetected as any creature, or dive deep underwater as a frog without fear of drowning.

✨ Features

Extended Duration

All morph potions now last 5 minutes instead of the default 1 minute, giving you plenty of time to explore, infiltrate, or just enjoy being a critter.

True Stealth

While morphed, hostile NPCs will completely ignore you. Walk right past spiders, skeletons, and other threats without triggering combat. You're just another harmless creature in their eyes.

But be careful! If you attack an NPC while morphed, that specific NPC will recognize the threat and fight back. Other nearby NPCs will still ignore you, only the one you attacked becomes hostile.

Unique Morph Abilities

🐦 Pigeon

Flight - Take to the skies! While morphed as a pigeon, you gain the ability to fly freely.

Flight controls work just like creative mode flight.

Landing on the ground stops the flying animation properly.

Flight is disabled when the morph ends (don't transform mid-air over a cliff!)

🐸 Frog

Water Breathing - Breathe underwater indefinitely while morphed as a frog.

Your oxygen stays at maximum, so you'll never take drowning damage.

The oxygen bar is hidden while morphed to prevent UI flickering.

Perfect for underwater exploration or escaping enemies by diving into lakes and rivers.

🐕 Dog

Zoomies! - Run around at 1.75x speed.

Benefits from extended duration and stealth.

Blend in with the wildlife and avoid hostile encounters.

🐭 Mouse

Benefits from extended duration and stealth.

Your tiny form lets you slip past dangers unnoticed.

🎮 How It Works

Brew or obtain a morph potion (Pigeon, Frog, Dog, or Mouse)

Drink the potion to transform

Enjoy your abilities for 5 full minutes

Avoid attacking if you want to stay hidden from that enemy

When the effect ends, you'll return to normal (and lose any morph abilities)

Place the plugin JAR in your server's mods folder

Edit your world and enable Better Morphs.

Restart your server

That's it! Morph potions are now upgraded automatically
