Repeatedly crouch to make you crops grow faster. Stand on your field and get to work crouching to pass the time and actually feel like it was time well spent.
Disclaimer
This is a rough first version. It reduces the raw wait time by 30 seconds every crouch (before calculation of growth modifiers) for every crop in a 5 block radius. I want to improve upon this but the documentation is not there just yet.
