HyBroadcaster is a professional announcement mod for Hytale servers. It allows administrators to send global messages using center screen titles or toast notifications, with powerful automation and integrated sound effects.

Display Modes

Center Screen Title

Perfect for important alerts and events. Displays a high-visibility banner in the middle of the screen.

Chat Toast (Emblem)

Ideal for automated tips or less intrusive server information.

Immersive Sound System

Bring life to your announcements! You can now specify a sound ID for any scheduled or manual message.

Scheduled: Add "sound": "SFX_Avatar_Powers_Enable_Local" to your config objects.

Manual Commands: Use the --sound flag.

Validation: The mod automatically checks if the sound exists in the Hytale registry and warns you if there's a typo.

Color & Formatting Support

Make your announcements stand out with our advanced styling engine:

Legacy Codes: Use the classic &0 - &f plus formatting like &l (Bold).

Hex Support: Professional-grade colors using &#RRGGBB.

Commands

/announce <message> [--sound <id>]: Displays a large title in the center of the screen.

/announce toast <message> [--sound <id>]: Sends a global announcement to the chat.

/hyannounces reload: Refresh the configuration and restart the scheduler instantly.

Installation

Place the HyBroadcaster.jar into your server's mods/ folder.

Restart the server.

Edit mods/HyBroadcaster/config.json to customize your messages.

Use /hyannounces reload to apply changes without restarting.

Upgrading to v2.0.0? The sound system and smart skip logic are enabled by default. Check out the new interactive web editor for the fastest configuration experience! Requires role.operator or hybroadcaster.admin permission.
