HyRise

HyRise is the official Kult Rising mod that brings the Sxlaris Canon of the SCP Foundation into Hytale. HyKult is designed to be a much more laid back and less serious version of the Kult Rising experience, aiming less for being perfectly accurate to canon, and more for satisfying/relaxing gameplay loops.

(The icon for HyRise was made by Oroshibu for the SCP Pixel Art Collab and is licensed under Creative Commons Share Alike 3.0. It was modified by Kyphxr for use in this mod.)

Current Features:

NPC Merchants:

There are currently 3 NPC Merchants right now, those being the Crelly Mold Merchant, the Caseoh Food Merchant, and the Walter White Crystal Merchant. In this current version of the mod, NPCs are obtained by crafting a spawn egg at the alchemy workbench which you can use to place the NPC in your world.

Weapons:

HyRise adds a wide array of weapons and tools to the game. At the moment, this only consists of the VPO-209 and Mjolnir, however, this armory will be greatly expanding over the coming weeks and months.

Mjolnir, the hammer of the gods.

Crafted wtih 5 Uru, 10 Thorium, 3 leather, and 1 iron hammer. In the future, it will use storm leather instead of medium leather, once there are more sources of Storm Hide available.

the VPO-209 Carbine

The VPO is crafted with 50 iron, 50 copper, 200 logs and 2 repair kits. It has a very slow rate of fire, but fairly high damage. This will likely be adjusted.

Moldy Longsword

Crafted wtih 14 Iron, 10 Thorium, 3 Medium Leather, and 25 mold. The mold is so potent that it causes the sword to glow a dull green. The sword has a spinning slash basic attack, and a horizontal dash charged attack.

Moldy Shurikens

Crafted wtih 5 Mold, and 1 copper, Moldy Shuriken are cheap, consumable, ranged weapons.

Stormbreaker (the movie version)

Stormbreaker is crafted using 10 Uru, 3 heavy leather, and a Thorium Axe.

Resources and Items:

HyRise adds several new items used for crafting different tools and gearsets. All of these items can be crafted in the HyRise workbench.

Uru:

Uru is an advanced metal that is incredibly durable, and is used to forge Asgardian tools and weapons.

Mouseiron:

Mouseiron is an advanced iron alloy that gives the metal a pink hue. For now it is only used to craft the Ironmouse NPC, but it will have its own associated tools and gearset in coming updates.

Mold:

Mold is a crafting item that is created with 5 fruit and 1 bread. Mold can both be sold to Crelly, as well as used to craft Mold based items.

Gameplay Changes:

HyRise contains the Immersive Farming mod, which makes farming a little less basic, and a little more progression based. All of the basic seed types have been removed from the Farming Workbench, and instead must be obtained by putting the corresponding plant into the Salvager.

This means that instead of needing to level up your Workbench to unlock new crops, you'll instead need to explore your world and either find the crops in the wild, or barter with Rootlings and other NPCs to obtain them. (Eternal seeds are still crafted the same way they are in vanilla, as well as sunflower seeds).

Decorations and Blocks:

The only decoration at the moment is Backrooms Level 0 Blocks which can be crafted at the Builder's Workbench with any Softwood Logs.

Texture Changes:

The only texture change is Mosshorns being turned into Moldhorns.

This mod is under constant development and will be reciving regular updates for the forseeable future.
