MJ's Minecrafty Models

MJ's Minecrafty Model is a mod that allows you to change your model to a Minecraft inspired one using your very own Minecraft skin!

Showcase/Tutorial:

Currently there is the regular Minecraft-like model and the Slim version for people with tiny arms.

I also recommend installing the mod Persistent Model Assignments so you don't have to keep typing the command every launch

- How it works:

Download the mod (obviously) Unzip the file Put the unzipped file (Folder) into the Hytale mods folder Go into the file that you just unzipped and put into the mods folder Navigate to "Common/Characters" You can now replace the "minecraft_skin.png" image with whatever Minecraft skin you want, but it HAS to be 256x256 instead of the usual 64x64. I recommend using piskelapp (google it) online to quickly scale your skin texture Importantly, rename the file to "minecraft_skin.png" Once the skin file is replaced, make sure the mod is enabled in a world Join into a world with the mod installed, type the command "/op self" Type the command "/model" Search for "Minecrafty_Model" in the search bar until you find it. Select it and click "Set Model" BOOM! You're done! Enjoy your Minecraft character in Hytale!

Now, because of the way this mod is developed, if you have it installed on a server, everyone will have the same skin, there is a workaround, but the admin has to add in everyone's skins manually.

- How to add multiple player's skins (Advanced, good for SMALL worlds with friend) :

Open the asset editor in-game Make sure you have "MJ's Minecrafty Models" selected Find the asset "Minecrafty_Model" under "server" Select it and duplicate it for however many players you have in the world, giving them unique asset IDs to identify each player/skin Click one of the models you want to change and then swap the texture for whichever one you want for that model. The more you make, the more options you have in-game. Import whatever skins you want into the previously mentioned file in the first tutorial, the names don't have to be "minecraft_skin" in this case. You should be all good, lmk if you're having any issues!

Importantly, this doesn't use ANY official Minecraft assets and is simply an inspired model based on the dimensions.
