Pathfinder - Biome Locator

Never get lost searching for biomes again! Pathfinder is a Hytale mod inspired by Nature's Compass for Minecraft, providing an easy way to locate any biome in your world and mark it on your compass.

How to Use

Using the Item (Recommended)

1. Craft the Pathfinder Biome Map at a Workbench (Tools category): - 2x Light Leather - 3x Life Essence

2. Right-click the Pathfinder Biome Map to open the search interface

3. Search for biomes by typing in the search bar, or browse the full list

4. Select a biome from the list (it will highlight when selected)

5. Click Search to find the biome and place a marker on your compass

Using Commands

- /pathfinder search <biome> - Search for a specific biome and place a marker - Example: /pathfinder search Valley_Glacier - /pathfinder list - List all available biomes in the world - /pathfinder clear [biome] - Clear markers - /pathfinder clear - Clears all Pathfinder markers - /pathfinder clear <biome> - Clears the marker for a specific biome

Shortcut: You can also use `/pf` instead of `/pathfinder`

Installation

1. Download the latest `.jar` file from the Files tab 2. Place it in your Hytale server's `mods` directory 3. Restart your server 4. Start playing!

How It Works

Pathfinder uses Hytale's world generation API to search for biomes without needing to load chunks. It performs an efficient spiral search pattern starting from your current location, checking biome types at various coordinates until it finds the target biome. Once found, it creates a map marker that's stored in your player data and displayed on your compass.

The mod includes a custom marker provider that ensures markers are visible on your compass from far away - perfect for finding those distant biomes!
