Adds a rechargeable Protection Totem to create temporary protected areas against griefing and unauthorized item usage.

This mod was developed especially for public survival servers, where griefing and theft are recurring issues. It provides an efficient, fair, and balanced protection system against these types of attacks.

Protection lasts for a limited time and can be recharged by players using specific items. If a player leaves the server for any reason, the protection is not permanent: over time, it expires, leaving builds vulnerable again.

The mod uses the server’s date and time to calculate the remaining protection duration. This means the timer continues to run normally even with no players online, unloaded chunks, or even when the server is offline, ensuring a consistent system with no time loss.

The Protection Totem can be crafted on the Crafting Table.

The mod adds a block that creates a temporary protected area. When you place the totem, you secure protection within a defined radius and control who can build, break, or interact with blocks inside the zone. Protection is rechargeable and can be paused or resumed directly through the totem’s interface.

Highlights:

Time-based protection with recharge via Void Heart (12h) and Void Essence (4 min).

Custom UI to view status, pause/activate protection, and manage trusted players.

Per-player permissions: place, break, and use.

Optional visual border with particles to display the protected area.

Entry/exit messages for protected zones.

No overlapping protections.

Config (Server Administrator):

/totemprotecao radius <16|32|64|128> sets the protection radius.

/totemprotecao maxclaims <1-5> limits how many areas each player can claim.

/totemprotecao crafting <on|off> enables/disables crafting.

/totemprotecao trust ... manages permissions via commands.

Note: When the totem is broken, the remaining protection time is currently lost.
