Tower of Shiva

Tower of Shiva is a new dungeon accessed through the Ancient Gateway using a custom Fragment, spawning an instance of the Tower of Shiva.

Shiva is a custom boss found at the top of the tower, boasting 5+ custom abilities, loosely inspired by the Shiva fight in FF14.

WARNING

The boss is not easy, full Adamantite armor is recommended along with consumables such as health potions.

How to Access

Once you have the mod installed, you can access the Tower of Shiva via the Ancient Gateway by creating a fragment to the Tower of Shiva and clicking on the gateway with the fragment in hand.

Boss Abilities (Spoiler)

100% Health

Staff Swipe:

Swings the staff at a player in melee range.

Ice Blast:

Fires a barrage of icicles at the player.

Rings of Frost:

Spawns rings of frost around Shiva in a clockwise pattern, exploding after a few seconds. Ends with a final ring on Shiva himself.

80% Health

Ice Crush: Spawn Penguin followed by Shards of Glass.

Spawn Penguin:

Spawns a penguin at the back of the tower's room, which drops a field of invulnerability for 5+ seconds upon death.

Shards of Glass:

Shiva explodes with razor sharp pieces of ice multiple times, increasing in damage exponentially until the final shot oneshots the player.

60% Health

Frontal Slam:

Shiva slams the ground in front of him for a cone of 270 degrees.

Rear Slam:

Shiva slams the ground behind him for a cone of 270 degrees.

Tips

1. Ice Blast and Staff Swipe can be blocked.

2. Rings of Frost is a clockwise pattern. Go to the right or center at the start and into the first circle after it bursts.

3. Shards of Glass can only be dodged by standing in the penguin's invulnerability field upon it's death.

4. Frontal Slam's animation is when Shiva raises his staff above his head. Go through him to stand directly behind him to dodge the frontal slam.

5. Rear Slam's animation is when Shiva raises his staff to the side/down. Stand directly in front of him to dodge rear slam.

Possible Changes for Users/Servers:

The instance time is set to 10 minutes (600 seconds). This can be modified at Tower_Of_Shiva/Server/Item/Items/Portal/PortalKey_Shiva_Dungeon.json. The same file can be modified to change the recipe as well (default cost is 10 Essence of Ice).

Shiva has a 50% chance to drop a piece of mithril armor or a frost staff. The loot table can be accessed at Tower_Of_Shiva/Server/Drops/NPCs/Bosses/Drop_Shiva.json

Shiva has 3000 health, that can be changed in Tower_Of_Shiva/Server/NPC/Roles/Boss/Shiva.json

The Tower of Shiva prefab is large due to the surrounding mountains, if you wish to only load the tower itself without the mountains, go to Tower_Of_Shiva/Server/Prefabs. Then rename the folder Shiva_Dungeon to something else (or delete it), and rename Shiva_Dungeon - Basic Copy to Shiva_Dungeon. Ensure that it is exactly only Shiva_Dungeon or it will not work.
