In-game Trading System

This trading system is built using the in-game Asset Editor and is designed to be simple, lightweight, and easy to edit. It allows server owners to create and adjust trades without any Java coding, making it ideal for early-stage gameplay and economy balancing.

The purpose of this system is to provide a basic and stable trading solution until more reliable, fully server-side plugins become available and compatible with other systems.

⚠️ Important

Unzip the file if u want to edit it! This trading system does not work in Creative mode and is intended for Survival-based gameplay only.

How to Create a New Trader

Step 1: Create the Shop Asset

Open the Asset Editor and select my asset.

Navigate to the folder: BarterShopAsset

Copy the code from one of the existing shops I created.

Press + — the correct folder should be selected automatically.

Give it a name, for example: AExample

Step 2: Create the NPC Role

Go to the NPC folder.

Open NPCRoles.

Copy the code from one of the NPC roles I created.

Press + and name it, for example: AExampleTrader

Step 3: Configure the Trader

Line 20 in AExampleTrader: Choose which NPC model the trader should use.

Line 252 in AExampleTrader: Change

"Shop": "WhateverName"

to

"Shop": "AExample"

Step 4: Edit the Trades

In the AExample shop asset, you can delete all items except one.

A demo setup will be created and shared later today or tomorrow.

Final Notes

I really love the game ❤️ However, plugins are not fully ready yet and are changing very fast, which is why this system exists as a temporary solution.
