Ever found yourself lost in the deep underground, wishing you had left a trail to follow back? Chalk Markers are here to solve that problem. This mod adds a simple but essential quality-of-life tool for every explorer, allowing you to leave a clear path through the most confusing terrain.

Features

True 360° Placement: No longer restricted to just walls, you can now place markings on floors and ceilings.

Intelligent Orientation: Markings automatically align to your facing direction, ensuring your arrows always point the way you intended.

The Chalk Box: A new utility item that allows you to store and organize your chalk sticks in one place.

Two Variants: Choose between Plain or Glowing chalk markers for better visibility in pitch-black caves.

Balanced Progression: Both variants are crafted at a standard workbench. They won't spoil the early-game challenge, as you’ll need to gather materials before your exploration gets easier.

How to Use

Place a Mark: Left-click on any surface (Wall, Floor, or Ceiling) with a chalk stick.

Cycle Marks: Left-click an existing mark with your chalk stick to change the mark pattern.

The Chalk Box: Hold the Chalk Box in your hand and press "Ability 3" key to manage your collection.

Remove a Mark: Right-click the mark or simply hit it to clear the path.

Installation

Install WorldGenOverlayLib first

Place ChalkMarkers.zip in your server's \mods folder

Restart your game

The mod will now show in your world's mod list (Right click world).
