This mod (Asset Pack) rebalances smelting, cooking, and fuel times to make furnace management less tedious. It also adds "Burn/Smelt/Cook Time" tooltip text to most items! See all the changes below.
Tooltips:
Tooltips are now shown for as many items as possible (Some Log items seem to show this inconsistently. I'm not sure why...)
Stack Sizes:
Stack size for all Ores increased from 25 to 100
Furnace Tier 2:
Now reduces smelting time by 50% instead of 30%
Smelting Times:
Mithril Ore smelting time reduced from 30s to 18s
Adamantite Ore smelting time reduced from 20s to 18s
Cobalt Ore smelting time reduced from 18s to 12s
Thorium Ore smelting time reduced from 18s to 12s
Iron Ore smelting time reduced from 14s to 6s
Copper Ore smelting time reduced from 10s to 6s
Gold Ore smelting time reduced from 10s to 6s
Silver Ore smelting time increased from 4s to 6s
Sand smelting time reduced from 10s to 3s (Smelting times are now generally much shorter, with the exception of Silver Ore, and times are now in multiples of 3s to better align with fuel times)
Cooking Times:
All raw meat/fish cooking times increased from 2s to 3s (This change is to better align the cooking times with the multiples of 3s that all fuels now use)
Burning Times:
Trunk burning time unchanged at 9s
Charcoal/Tree Sap/Plank/Stairs burning time unchanged at 6s
Pile of Sticks burning time increased from 4s to 6s
Wood Beam/Slab burning time unchanged at 3s
Stick burning time reduced from 4s to 3s
Plant Fibre burning time reduced from 2s to 1.5s (Although both Sticks and Plant Fibres are nerfed, their numbers better align with multiples of 3, so the number of items required to smelt various ores is much more predictable)
Local World Installation
Add the downloaded SmeltingRebalance_vX.X.X.zip to <data-path>/Hytale/UserData/Mods/
On the world selection screen, right-click the world to edit the world settings
In the Mods list, enable the mod and then save world settings
Dedicated Server Installation
Add the downloaded SmeltingRebalance_vX.X.X.zip to <your-server>/mods/
Restart the server
Windows <data-path>: %APPDATA% MacOS <data-path>: ~/Library/Application Support Linux <data-path>: ~/.var/app/com.hypixel.HytaleLauncher/data
