I'm working together with RM20Dev on their new mod Angler's Almanac to bring richer and more ambitious fishing gameplay to Hytale!
The Stardew Style fishing mod has been fully integrated as one of the optional minigames inside Angler's Almanac.
Stardew Style fishing will no longer be updated.

!!! Currently only basic functionality is complete as of v0.1.0 !!!The rod is craftable in the workbench and farming table (crude hoe stand-in), and the minigame is fully playable, but not pretty... yet.Near future updates planned:
Nicer models, animations, and sound effects, plus tweaked minigame experience.
Catch progress display.
Additional click to hook the fish before initiating minigame.
Better bobber physics.
Ability to hook NPCs.
Unique spawn conditions and minigame behaviour for each fish.
Chance of additional treasure or "trash" upon success.
Distant future update plans:This would mostly be giving a greater reason to fish. Focusing on progression and unique rewards.
More rods, bobbers, and tackle.
Legendary fish.
Unique items (tools, furniture, armour, potions) available only through fishing.
Fish trader NPC.
