Witchy is a magic-focused mod inspired by classic witchcraft gameplay, notably from the Minecraft mod Witchery, reimagined and adapted specifically for Hytale. It introduces a mystical progression centered around fumes, rituals, brews, and occult crafting, designed to blend naturally into the Hytale universe.

🫙 Magic Cauldrons & Ritual Crafting

Use cauldrons as central crafting stations for witchcraft-related content.

Certain items require specific conditions or setups, reinforcing a ritualistic and immersive approach rather than instant recipes.

Planned evolution toward deeper and more complex ritual systems.

🕯️ Occult Items & Resources

Discover new ingredients, essences, and mystical materials through exploration and processing.

Items are designed to feel rare and meaningful, avoiding shallow or grind-heavy progression.

🩸 Transformations & Supernatural Paths (Planned)

Witchy will introduce supernatural transformations such as werewolves and vampires, offering alternative magical paths.

Each transformation will feature unique strengths, weaknesses, abilities, and progression systems.

These paths are designed to significantly affect gameplay, survival mechanics, and interactions with the world and magic.

⚠️ Important Note

Crafting Witchy items in Adventure Mode is currently not recommended, as some mechanics are still evolving and may lead to wasted resources.

🚧 Development Status

Witchy is actively evolving. Many additions, changes, and balance adjustments are planned to better integrate with future Hytale systems and expand witchcraft gameplay.

Planned content includes:

New brews and ingredients

Expanded cauldron mechanics

Deeper magical progression

More immersive witch-themed content

📦 Installation

To install Witchy, simply download the mod ZIP file and place it into the mods folder located in your Hytale roaming directory. Once the file is added, launch Hytale and the mod will be loaded automatically. Don’t forget to activate the mod before launching your world. 🙂
